How to use the Job function as the only function of the Felan theme

If you just want to use each Job as the sole function of the theme, then see the steps below

  1. Import the demo to your site:

To be able to import the Felan demo to your site, please see this article on how to import the demo:

Step 2 - Install ThemeStep 3 - Import theme

After successfully importing the theme, select the home page dedicated to the job. By going to Admin -> General -> Reading -> Select the home page dedicated to jobs here.

Here, from Home 18 to Home 21 are the home pages for Jobs, you can choose them

  1. After choosing the home page that matches the job, the dashboard will also need to be set up to match the job.

To do this, go to Felan -> Theme Options -> User navigation -> Turn off all tabs in the Dashboard of both Employer and Freelancer that are not related to the Job such as: Project, Services,...

In the option User Navigation -> Select " Off" to turn off all tabs in the Dashboard of both Employer and Freelancer that are not related to the Job such as: Project, Services,...

Here, Tabs not related to Job have been turned off in Dashboard Employer and Freelancer

  1. Next step, create a company for the Employer if this Employer has a company (If this Employer does not have a company, you can skip this step).

To Create a company, in the Employer Dashboard -> Select tab My Company -> Add New

Next, fill in the Company's information -> After filling in all the information -> Select Publish to publish the Company.

  1. Another thing is that the theme supports the company approval function for admins. If the user submits a company that the admin wants to censor before publishing, the admin needs to enable the approval function. So how do get approval, you can see this article:

Automatically publish the submitted job/company/service/project
  1. Next, after you have a company, you can take the step of posting a job. Here, to post a job, there are two ways to post. One way is to buy a package. The package has a number of times to post jobs. If you use up all the time to post jobs that the package provides, you must buy a new package. How to use this package function, you can see this article:

How to Create an Employer PackageHow to active Employer Package

Or if you want your Employer to post a job for free, you can see this article to activate the post-job-free function

How to activate the Free Package for Employer
  1. After you purchase the package (or if you do not use the package feature), the next step is to post the job. At Dashboard Employer -> Manage Jobs Tab -> Select Create New Jobs

  1. Next, on the job post page, fill in all the information and description of that job. After filling out completely, select Post Job to publish the Job

  1. Once you have completed and published a Job, you can manage a list of all your Jobs in the My Job tab here.

  1. If you only want to use the JOb function and do not want to use other functions of the theme, the next step is to delete all the URLs of the default pages such as Services, Projects,... of the theme. To delete it, go to Theme Options -> SLug URL -> Then delete all the URLs of the remaining pages.

  1. Next edit the URL, if you want to add a URL pointing to the job archive page,..., you just need to enter the URL according to the structure .../job (For example: felan.ricetheme.com/job)

Similar to other job pages, please use the corresponding URL Slug that has been set in the Theme Options.

  1. Next edit the URL, if you want to add a URL pointing to the job archive page on the menu, you just need to enter the URL according to the structure .../job (For example: felan.ricetheme.com/job)

Next, go to admin -> Appearances -> Menus -> Enter or copy/paste the job page URL into the menu item you want

If you don't know how to create a menu, you can see this article to create a menu:

Ta-da 🎉, that's it. It's simple, isn't it? So you can remove other functions of the theme to use each job function for your site 😄
